Safety is the first thing we build

Rider and Captain safety is Luvitor's top operational priority. These are the things we actually do — not aspirations.

In the app, on every ride

• SOS button. One tap alerts our safety team and your emergency contacts with your live location.
• Live trip sharing. Send a tracking link to family for any ride, or turn on Always share trip in Settings to do it automatically.
• Masked calling. Rider and Captain numbers are never shown to each other.
• Trip OTP. The ride only starts when you read out your code, so nobody else can start it.
• Live GPS tracking, retained for a limited window so a dispute or incident can be reviewed.
• Two-way ratings, which surface conduct problems early.

Before a captain drives

Every Captain completes document verification — driving licence, RC, and insurance — plus identity and selfie verification before their account is activated. Documents are re-verified periodically, and an expired document deactivates the account until it is renewed.

Your emergency contacts

Add up to five contacts in Safety Center in the app. They are the people we text, with your live location and trip details, the moment you raise an SOS.

Reporting an incident

Report through in-app SOS, the Help Center, or the emergency helpline 7996665010. Serious incidents — accidents, harassment, assault — go straight to our safety team and, where appropriate, to the local police.

If you are in immediate danger, call 112 first.

Road safety

Captains must follow speed limits, helmet and seatbelt law, and vehicle fitness norms. We use trip data — harsh braking and speeding patterns — to flag risky driving for coaching, and for deactivation if it continues.

How we use safety data

Trip GPS, call metadata, and SOS logs may be shared with law enforcement on a lawful request, and are used internally to investigate complaints. See the Privacy Policy.
